INK SCREEN PRESS OPERATOR NEEDED!

TK Cups-Sorg's in Fitchburg, MA is seeking an Ink Screen Press Operator. This position will play a pivotal role in the printing process, specializing in operating and maintaining ink screen printing presses. Your responsibilities will include setting up the equipment, adjusting parameters, monitoring print quality, and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality printed materials. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of screen-printing techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Set up and prepare ink screen printing presses for production runs.
• Operate ink screen printing presses, to achieve accurate and consistent prints.
• Mix and prepare inks according to color specifications.
• Inspect prints for defects, color accuracy, and overall quality.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on printing equipment to keep machines in optimal condition.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with the press and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Optimize workflow to maximize production efficiency and meet production deadlines.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and practices.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs.

Requirements and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience as an ink screen press operator or in a related printing role is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and a dedication to following them diligently.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions as an integral part of daily tasks.
• Tolerance for working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to inks and chemicals.
