Are you passionate about print quality, mechanically skilled, and ready to be hands-on in a fast-paced production environment? As a Press Operator, you'll be a key part of our printing process, ensuring every run is consistent, clean, and crafted to perfection. If you love working with machines and bringing print designs to life, this is your chance to shine.

What You'll Do:

• Set up printing presses according to job specs; load substrates, adjust ink levels, and configure plates or cylinders.
• Monitor print runs closely, adjusting settings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and top-notch quality.
• Inspect printed materials for defects such as misregistration, smudging, or color issues and correct them on the fly.
• Perform preventative maintenance, clean equipment, and troubleshoot issues to keep downtime minimal.
• Work closely with prepress and press team members to maintain smooth production flow.
• Maintain accurate job logs, press settings, and quality check records.
• Follow all company safety guidelines and printing best practices.

What You Bring:

• Mechanical aptitude and technical know-how to operate and maintain complex press systems.
• A sharp eye for detail and a drive to get it right every time.
• The ability to problem-solve and make real-time adjustments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina-able to be on your feet, lift materials, and keep up with the demands of pressroom work.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational training, certification, or an apprenticeship in printing technology is a plus.
• Experience as a press operator or assistant in a commercial print setting preferred.
• Familiarity with different press types (offset, flexo, digital, or screen) and an understanding of inks, substrates, and printing techniques.
