Warehouse Associate

TK Cups-Sorg's in Fitchburg, MA is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in a manufacturing setting. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the manufacturing process. Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products.
• Check for discrepancies and report any damage or shortages.
• Ensure all materials are properly labeled and organized.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Shipping assistance includes pick and pack orders, preparing orders for shipment, coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives and suggest ideas for optimization.

Requirements and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks.
• Punctuality and reliability.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
